Within the overall cycle of the Annual Lectures the Association听occasionally听stages a听commemorative lecture series. Thus, between 1999 and 2001听there were听seven Millenium Review Lectures, intended to听act as overviews of听current trends in scholarship over a number of subject areas. The most recent听initiative听was the George Zarnecki Memorial Lecture. Established in 2009,听this ran for a period of seven years as the result of a generous donation from John Osborn,听 an enthusiastic member of the 澳门六合彩开奖现场 and aficionado of all things Romanesque. The lecture was held in February or March and was听followed by a reception at the Society of Antiquaries.听 The series is now finished, though听a list of the George Zarnecki听lecture series can be found in the archive.
